Dennis Rupp

“Dennis Rupp as the count’s rascally business associate Skuller has power and persuasion in his polished bass…” The Billings Gazette – Christine Meyers (Nosferatu – world premiere)

The role of Osmin marks Dennis Rupp’s debut with Scenic City Opera. The California native’s repertoire of operatic roles and concert performances includes such highlights as his portrayal of Méfistofélès in Gounod’s Faust, which received an L.A. He also created the role of Captain Bedoya in Enrique Gonzalez-Medina’s Serafina y Arcangela for Conaculta-Cecut in Tijuana, Mexico. Mr. Rupp has toured Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic as bass soloist for the Mozart Requiem with the Santa Barbara Choral Society. He later toured with the same company to Italy and Germany where he assayed the bass solos in Haydn’s St. Theresa Mass with the Nova Amadeus Orchestra and the Suddeutsche Kammer Philharmonie.
